About the role:
Our client is a world-leading facilities management solutions company based in Melbourne. Due to growing success, this organisation is looking to bring on a Return to Work Coordinator to join their team for a six-month contract. This role will commence ASAP but will allow if you have a notice period.
This role will be reporting into the HSE Systems & Injury Management Manager and is responsible for maximizing rehabilitation outcomes for all team members and minimizing impacts on insurance premiums while maintaining a positive safety culture.
Other key aspects of this role will see you:
- Liaise with insurers, medical providers, managers and team members regarding work-related injury claims, injury management strategies, medical treatment payments and invoicing
- Participate in the identification and implementation of improvements to injury management policies and procedures, systems and processes.
- Monitor work related injury management performance on a regular basis through review of Workers Compensation claims and Injury Management programs in consultation with Manager HSE Systems and Injury Management
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and industry agreements
About you:
To be successful in this role you will have ideally have:
- A minimum 3 years' experience in RTW at a coordinator/advisor level
- Return to Work Coordinator Qualifications (VIC & QLD Minimum, National coverage a bonus)
- Understanding of workers compensation insurance schemes
- Experience in injury claims management and return to work systems, processes and procedures
- Australian PR or Citizenship required
