The opportunity:
Our client is a well-known company seeking a Health and Wellness professional to join their Health, Safety and Wellbeing team business in a permanent role. This well-loved household name is based in Melbourne (Eastern Suburbs) but has a national footprint. They are a down to earth organisation with an exceptional working culture, stable leadership and ongoing career opportunities. As a response to the increasing psych-social demands that Covid-19 has highlighted, this company are seeking to add specialist skillset to the team.
While this large and (relatively) complex business currently has a range of wellbeing/wellness initiatives in place, this role will review and optimise the impact of these initiatives. It will also bring a more strategic focus to link together these Wellbeing initiatives into a cohesive program.
This might include internal initiatives, training, webinars, resources, support, complemented by external providers.
This role sits within the Health and Safety team and works closely with HR and operational parts of the business. You will be providing advice and support to Managers at all levels across the business.
Being part of a National team, you will get the opportunity to contribute to (and lead) national projects. This also brings plenty of development and career potential for the right person.

Your proven experience will ideally include:
- Experience in a Wellbeing and/or HSE Advisory role, ideally in a company that has a large footprint.
- Proven ability to engage, coach and foster relationships
- Experience and maturity to work in a leadership role
- Working across a multi-site business
- The confidence, communication and technical expertise to advise and deliver wellbeing programmes, and being the SME within the business
- Formal qualifications in a related discipline, ideally Allied Health or Workplace Health and Safety
