The Company

Safesearch have been engaged exclusively by one of Australia's best companies that support the Residential and Commercial property sectors to make their properties look great! They have a tremendous medium-sized team located in multiple states.

The Role

This interesting role is responsible for Health and Safety across the company, which spans multiple states and sites. The company traverses a blend of work styles (professional and operational), and you will be contributing to an environment that already has a strong health and safety culture. This role will continue to add additional foundations, policies and process to the company and ensuring they minimise risk.

This will include:

  • adding elements into their Safety Management System,
  • generating ongoing cultural change across the Organisation,
  • design and delivery of training, and
  • supporting the company leaders and operational teams to ensure a safe workplace

It is a Senior individual contributor position. NB the role can be worked 3 days/week, but if you have a strong preference for 4/days or 5/days per week, this can be accommodated for the right person.

About you

  • Health and Safety experience (Advisor or Manager-level) within a multi-site/state company
  • Backgrounds that incorporate risks such as Manual Handling, Logistics and Warehousing will be highly regarded
  • Ability and demonstrated experience working independently with Senior Leaders to shape Safety Culture, performance and tools
  • Relevant WHS/OHS qualification (ideally Diploma or above)
  • You will enjoy a fast paced, performance focused workplace where you will have the opportunity to work autonomously and develop your career.
