Safesearch have proudly partnered with our clients Risk team to find an up-and-coming WHS Consultant to join their expanding team here in Brisbane City.

Offering WHS and Workplace Relations expertise, our client help businesses manage their compliance and legislative obligations whilst achieving business objectives.

Focusing on the Queensland market and reporting directly to the National Manager, this is an exciting opportunity for a commercially focused, safety professional to hone their safety and risk advisory skills across multiple clients and industries.

This will see you working closely with their clients across a wide variety of industries to understand their needs and delivering tailored risk mitigation strategies and solutions.

  • Managing key client and stakeholder relationships
  • Conducting incident investigations, taking witness statements & technical reporting
  • Facilitating risk assessments, undertaking site & desktop audits
  • Developing WHS management plans, manuals, policies and procedures
  • Reviewing and developing WHS management systems

You would be fully supported and mentored by the Risk team to aid your ongoing development and encourage your professional growth. Prior consulting experience not essential but is highly valued. Enthusiasm and motivation to learn and grow is a must have.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Diploma in WHS - minimum requirement Cert IV in WHS
  • Return To Work Coordinator Certificate & ICAM investigation highly desirable.
  • 2-3 years of varied professional experience within WHS, across a range of industries
  • Working knowledge of WHS legislation & Codes of Practice
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Effective time management and prioritisation skills
  • Flexibility to travel to client sites
  • A current full drivers' licence


If you have exposure to RTW/IM and ICAM investigations but not the certification, our client is committed to taking you through the relevant and necessary courses to ensure your success.
