// The Company
Our client, a large and well known Australian business, has an excellent reputation in the market with their customers and employees. They are a multi-site business across Australia and New Zealand, driven by their strongly embedded values.
In a sector that has been very stable and solid during the Covid-19 pandemic, this organisation has managed the responses with the required flex and stretch. And while this rollout has been delayed slightly by Covid-19, they are now ready to go.
And they would love you to lead the charge.
Driven from head office in Melbourne's inner east, this Project Management will connect and access senior leaders and front line operations across the country (ANZ) to understand the business and deliver the project.
// The Role & Requirements
This project manager role will partner with the senior Health/Safety/Wellbeing professionals in the business - and bring subject matter expertise to deliver a successful rollout of a new Contractor Management System across all parts of their business.
There is currently some work in progress in overall design and timelines, but you will lead the refinement of the plan, and empower your team of four (subject matter expertise, change management, business analyst) to build the program, and then work through each step.
You will likely enjoy the deep dive into this one project, a Contractor Management System (Rapid Global), integrating into established systems and process. This will require leading an integrated team (external and internal). Delivery through agile delivery practises, managing milestones, risks and issues.
// The Person
The successful professional will have experience managing large, programs with interesting challenges, and leading a team to execute well.
You will need to build relationships and trust quickly, through your communication style and technical foundations. As you would imagine, this project requires two parts strategy, two parts execution (through multiple methodologies, mostly via Agile), and a healthy mix of vision, deliver and problem solving.
You will be managing all aspects of the project, including overall plan, communication, budget and the team. Important will be your commercial acumen in articulating the relevance and business benefits to the broader team - and making sound decisions using this lens.
Highly advantageous will also be your previous rollout of Health and Safety related Management System Software in a large and complex environment. Ideally this would be Rapid Global, the chosen software solution, or a similar Contractor Management system.
Alternatively, you will have experience in similar WHS Software rollouts and have a strong understanding of Contractor Management in a large and complex business.
// The Opportunity and Rewards
This will be an excellent project to lead - the satisfaction of overall delivery, but also on your resume. There is a very solid contracting daily rate to remunerate for your expertise and delivery.
